Skyrim crossbow aim animation8/4/2023 I'm essentially hoping that someone can do the same with Crossbows for Skyrim. I've noticed that looking at that Bethseda commited the same sin in that game and someone made a that corrected that issue for all the guns in the game. I'm hoping that someone can make a mod (or has made one, I searched on Nexus but drew a blank) that changes the firing animation so that when in first person, your character actually sights along the line of the crossbow bolt like someone would do if they were using a crossbow in real life. Big improvement from the strange off of the hip vanilla camera aim. Porter's note: This is essentially an 'aim down iron sights' mod but for Skyrim. I found a bunch but they are all for LE which is not my case. Replaces first person crossbow animations to line up with the target. Im looking for a Crossbows animations mod for SSE since i wanted to play a witch hunter that uses a crossbows but vanilla animations dont merge well with every enhanced animation i have running on. When using a bow standing in first person, the arrow points directly where the crosshair would be, so I can aim just fine like that. Crosshair-aligned Crossbow is a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to improve first person aiming with crossbows. These make sure that arrows/bolts actually fly towards the crosshair (while still needing to do some compensation for very long range shots). Now this isn't a problem with bows, with the crosshair off I can aim where I want to shoot and be sure of hitting the target thanks to these ini settings: Replaces first person crossbow animations to line up with the target. I don't feel that in a Medieval Style High Fantasy game it is all that realistic to have a crosshair that simply allows you to point and shoot, rather than actually aim properly. This is an animation replacer especially intended for Immersive HUD and hidden crosshair. I like to play without using the Crosshair.
